"Extremely impressed"
There are a lot of options out there for software like this. Ranging from "free" to Open Source to commercial. We were initially hesitant to make an investment in a commercial package, believing that we could not afford to. However, during our evaluation HelpDesk Pilot stood out because of its ease of use and configuration. It was certainly the most attractive package we had seen.
Then we had to worry about the pricing. But soon, that was no problem :) The pricing model allowed us to purchase the product now and get going at a low entry cost and tons of functionality with plenty of plugins and upgrades available for the future as we mature our service process and grow. We had many questions during the evaluation process and found that through the use of their own software the sales team at HelpDesk Pilot were able to quickly answer questions and point us to very detailed knowledgebase articles. This simply further reinforced our confidence that we could take our service process to a new level using this software. So we made the purchase!
On top of all this, we were extremely impressed at the ease of installation. Within minutes of purchasing we received our download links and 20 minutes later our support site was up and running - complete with two departments linked to our support emails for ticket generation and a full functioning knowledgebase! We are very impressed with HelpDesk Pilot.
